Wildlife Computers Data Analysis Programs (WC-DAP) are used to collect, organize and analyze data collected and/or transmitted by most Wildlife Computers instruments. WC-DAP.MSI installs a number of interrelated tools as follows:
  • Instrument Helper - Graphically display and manipulate archival data. Includes both Dive Analysis and Zero-Offset functions.
  • Argos Message Retriever - Automatically retrieve and format Argos data messages.
  • Argos Message Decoder - Decode, collate, and store Argos messages.
  • Argos Project Editor - Optionally configure the specifics of a project with information used by the Retriever and the Decoder.
  • Fast-GPS Location Solver - Convert Fast-GPS tag raw data into latitude and longitude.
  • Command Line Utilities - Command line versions (i.e. no graphical user interface) of three of the utilities for users who want to process data via scripting.
    • ARGOSFETCH.EXE = Initiates data transfer via the Argos Message Retriever
    • AMD.EXE = Argos Message Decoder
    • FGS.EXE = Fast-GPS Location Solver
WC-GPE Suite     Documentation
This is a collection of three programs (WC-AMP, WC-TSP, and WC-GPE) used to derive location estimates from light level data collected using Mk7 through Mk10 and PAT2 through PAT4 tags.
